Spontaneous: Supposedly sci-fi dark comedy is a drab

I love Katherine Langford and she was the reason why I watched the horrific 13 Reasons Why. But, the series was so bad that whenever I see a Katherine Langford picture it brings me the traumatic and terrible memories of the series. So to fade those images, I watched this movie.

Spontaneous which was supposedly a black comedy romantic movie was drab throughout with Katherine being the only bright spot about the movie. Google calls it a comedy sci-fi movie yet nothing happens that would even make the movie mildly scientific. Shit keeps happening and we are left clueless as to why it happens. The reason is out with a philosophical dialogue which couldn’t have been more cliche. The romantic part was okayish and the soundtracks used at places were good.

Wikipedia review section says greatly about the movie with terms like ‘gallows humor’, ‘explosive twist’ and ‘explosively funny’ and the rotten tomatoes has rated the movie 97% which I found it more laughable than the “humor” in the movie.

P.S.: Regardless, Katherine Langford looked awesomely cute and hot!
