The journey of an aspiring boxer to regain the reputation and honor of his clan.

Before starting about the movie, I would like to say Pa Ranjith is back. After facing severe criticism for his previous two films is back, Pa Ranjith has provided us an amazing film that is filled with so much passion and love.

Sarpatta Parambarai is all about boxing and legacy that speaks a ton about those involved in the sport. …

An american anthology investigative drama that revolves around some dark crimes and subsequent effect on the lives of people involved with it.

𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟭 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗿

An excellent tale of a dark crime drama whose plot involves the investigation with an occult serial killer who kills innocent children for the sake of voodoo workship. The major selling point about this season is its characters and the brilliant way the series has been shot. The show gradually builds up with the plot which sucks you along with the characters and their journey. …

Harley Quinn breaks up with Joker after realising that he doesn’t love her and starts to tread her own path which forms the crux of the series. While the first season deals with her growth as a super villain, the second season focuses about the relationship of Harley Quinn with Poison Ivy.

I am usually not into animated cartoon series and I have just watched Ricky and Morty so far in that genre due to the unanimous positive review it got. Likewise, the positive reviews and Kaley Cuoco’s dubbing for Harley Quinn interested me into the series as something fun…

It’s been a while since I wrote something that’s not cricket, movies, or TV Shows. Before we begin, I want to clarify that I’m not a gamer per se. I have played a few renowned games to some extent which I believe will make me qualify as an amateur or at least a beginner gamer. Hence, don’t pick on me if my little experience doesn’t count as an obsession in your point of view.

Before we begin, What’s Obsession?

An idea or thought of being preoccupied with a certain person, habit or a thing which on a prolonged time can…

A police officer who investigates a murder in a small Pennsylvania town unravels numerous mysteries that could turn the lives of the one she holds close upside down.

There has been a constant buzz about the show since it started premiering. To stand up to the hype, the show is a brilliantly tailored crime drama that gets you immersed with the characters in the little town. Kate Winslet as the lead protagonist Mare Sheehan was fantastic throughout the show. She portrayed the character to the utmost perfection. I never knew she was a British native until I read her wiki…

Crime thrillers that keep us guessing for the entirety of serious are rare and unique.

Trapped, suggested by one of my friend is an excellent Scandinavian slow burn crime thriller that ticks all the boxes of an immersive and intriguing series. The screenplay is tightly knit with almost no loopholes and the story continues to reveal every now and then that keeps the audience guessing throughout the series.

I wasn’t aware of the type of the series nor the language. I guessed it to be English but it was Icelandic. The Iceland setup was totally new which initially took time…

Karnan has been watched. There’s no equivalence to the talent of Dhanush’s acting at the moment. Eases out such an amazing performance that leaves a lasting mark.

Mari Selvaraj is a gem to be procured safely. The intensity in Karnan is multifold than PP. If PP is his anger, Karnan is his outrage. Might feel like exaggeration but there’s no word to describe about how the story has been told.

While the works of Mari and Dhanush are very much visible, SaNa is the silent hero of Karnan who uplifts the movie with his magnificent work. Vutradheenga Eppov wasn’t a…

There are some movies that you could watch leisurely without much to worry about and spend 2 hours involving into the lives of the character. Crazy, Stupid, Love is one such flick that has all the criteria ticked to become the “feel good” movie as movie buffs would term it.

I didn’t have this in watchlist untill last week and I came across a twitter convo about how the movie is satisfying and fun to watch. The hype really intrigued me to watch it ignoring other movies. I expected it to be a single romantic story about the lead pairs…

The story is about an underaged girl traveling from a small town to Newyork to get abortion who faces different obstacles in the due process.

About an year back, I wrote an article on freedom of dressing among women. It was received well and one of the readers asked me even to write a similar article on abortion. I had little to no knowledge on the topic then and I said I will try. …

An emotional drama of a man who has to confront his gory past while setting up a life for the teen who just lost his father. The movie has a horrific tragedy that is heart-wrenching whilst it goes a stage above and punches you in your gut by making the protagonist speak through the incident. There was hardly any disturbing visuals yet the agony it inflicts upon you is unimaginable.

I didn’t/couldn’t cry yet there was a constant discomfort in me while watching the protagonist’s struggle on screen who can neither correct his mistake nor move on. Casey Affleck as…
