๐ ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐บ๐ฒ: ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ฏ๐ฎ๐น๐น ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฝ!
I hardly follow football. I knew the winners of the worldcup and I know some players(other than Messi and Ronaldo) based on twitter and facebook mates who are avid followers of the game.
Come FIFA WC '22, I started watching the game for Messi from their first game(vs Saudi Arabia). Messi scored yet they lost. I have attempted watching the game in the past but I wasn't drawn into it as goals don't happen often but this time I found the game more attractive than before, the tension of the goal can happen from any moment made me like the even more. I started following the game and watched most of the games.
In the due period, I became a fan of Messi. My mate Sarathy Smartie is the biggest Messi fan I know and partly due to his influence and partly coz of the craziest and unreal things that Messi has done on the field, I became a stan for the GOAT. In under 30 days, I have reached an amateur fan from beginner fan of Messi and gladly without heartbreaks they reached the final.

Me and Sarathy planned to watch the final together. We started watching and he was more anxious than ever. Fortunately Argentina started strong and we scored 2-0 lead by half time. We were 3 in the room with another friend joining the game. The howlings, shouting and claps for each goal was huge.
Right when we thought Arg would win the cup easily, Mbappe decided to play spoil sport. Equalised the goal in 2 minutes and took the game to extra time. Messi with another goal yet Mbappe was one annoying fooker who seemed to be motivated to ruin Messi's night. Glady thanks to Martinez's excellent save, game went into penalty kick.
Emi Martinez yet again with his unreal saves showed his class and won the WC for Messi.
I had the best of times watching the game with my mate and it couldn't have been better. The last I remember being this happy for a sport was when India beat Australia in Gabba test and before that it tracks back to 2011 WC final.
These moments are rare and maybe coz of the same, these moments become priceless and memorable.
A victory for life, a night to remember!
P.S.ย : Planning to follow club football (starting with premier league) from here on. Arsenal seems a good option as one other friend named them to be SRH of PL. Suggestions please!
